I think William is the SON of Elizabeth Wearthmuth Nicholson and Thomas Parker Nicholson who came over from England with their children. I think some historical biographical information claiming they only had 3 children is inaccurate. They also had a son Thomas Percy Nicholson who died of his wounds in the battle of Pea Ridge. William names a son Percy Wermuth Nicholson and a daughter Mary Ann before he dies and leaves his widow to remarry a Born. The use of Elizabeth's maiden name is another reason I think they are related as son and mother, other than William being 30 years younger than Elizabeth. There appear to be duplicates and I believe Thomas P. Nicholson is on this same gravestone and should be (Marie) Elizabeth Wearthmuth's husband. Thank-you and I apologize if I have this wrong.
