Allanna Linville was a loving daughter and sister. She had suffered a severe stroke some years prior to her death that deprived her of free movement and of the power of speech, and spent her last years at the Monte Siesta Nursing and Rehab Center in Austin, Texas; yet she maintained a bright and active life of the mind, corresponding with a wide circle of friends through the Internet and using her computer to write numerous original works including short stories, song lyrics, and an unfinished novel on which she was still working up until shortly before her final illness. Her interest in family history and in folklore and traditional religions led to many of her friendships. Many, many people will remember Allanna warmly for as long as we live.
