CLIFFORD J. GREENWOOD
Clifford Joseph Greenwood, 78, a former employee of the Missisqoui Pulp and Paper Mill, in Sheldon Springs, died last night in a local nursing home following a long illness.
He was born in Sheldon, Sept. 7, 1898, the son of Charles and Pheobe (Plum) Greenwood. He is survived by his wife, Virginia (Griggs) Greenwood of St. Albans; a son, Robert E Greenwood, of St.Albans; a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Sears of Highgate; three grandsons and several nieces and nephews. A Brother Howard died Jan. 30 1977.
A Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main St., with the Rev. Paul H. LeFevre, pastor of St. Paul's United Methodist Dhurch officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Interment will be this spring in the family lot in Sheldon Village Cemtery. Funeral arrangements are by the Heald Funeral Home.
