Mrs. D. W. HART, former resident of Waka, was buried at Hansford cemetery, December 23, services were held at the Union Church in Spearman with Rev. Sam Malone, pastor of the Baptist Church, in charge.
Mrs. Vera Iva HART was born September 18, 1905, in Beaver County, Oklahoma near Booker, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Edd GREER. She died December 20, 1945, at the age of 40 years, three months and two days.
On April 5, 1922, she was united in marriage to D. W. HART. To this union one child was born, Wilbert W. HART. They moved to Waka where they lived 17 years, moving to Spearman in May 1942.
Preceding her in death are her father, Edd GREER, and a niece, Nellie Faye WRIGHT. She is survived by her husband, D. W. HART, and son, Wilbert W., both of Spearman; her mother, Mrs. Artie ATWOOD, Auburn, California; two sisters, Mrs. Oscar BELL, Auburn, California; Mrs. Irene SPRINGER, Booker; one brother,
Madison GREER, Auburn, California; a half-brother, Oliver Jr. ADAMS, Auburn, California.
