Mother of 3 children. She was born and raised in Washington county, Maine. 1852-1855 (at minimum) the family lived in St. Stephen, Charlotte, New Brunswick, Canada. They moved back to Washington, Maine and lived with her parents from at least 1860-1870. The family moved to Minnesota between 1880 and 1885.
Per Lakewood.com burial date was 6/27/1896, but she died in 1891. She was probably buried in Maple Hill Cemetery first, and then moved. Other Lane family members were moved when that cemetery closed. Stone reads Abbie A. Lane. However nearly all records indicate her middle initial was H and not A, including the page from the family bible presumably written by Abbie herself. The tombstone is incorrect.
She was a Mayflower descendant and the 7th great granddaughter of Richard Warren
(Descendancy - Abigail Hersey Smith>John Smith>Abigail Hersey>Zadock Hersey>Margaret Sprague>Mathew Sprague>Elizabeth Bartlett>Mary Warren>
Richard Warren)
