TRIBUTE PAID TO MRS. GLASSCOCK
Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Luelling Glasscock, 79 years of age, who died at the home of her daughter on North Sycamore avenue Saturday were conducted yesteray at 2 p.m. at the W. A. Brown funeral parlors at 1815 South Flower street. She was buried in Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Glasscock was the daughter of Henderson W. Luelling, who brought the first fruit trees to the Pacific Coast in 1847. Mrs. Glasscock, who was formerly Mrs. Eliza Luelling Wood, was at one time State president of the Women's Christian Temperance Union in New York. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. M. M. Loomis of Manilla, Iowa, and Mrs. William Laidlaw of this city, beside four grand and four great-grandchildren.
