Mrs. Mary Patricia "Pat" Beverly, 76, died Thursday evening (March 8, 2012) at Kindred Hospital of North Hospital in Green Cove Springs, FL after a brief illness.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Waycross where she graduated from Waycross High School. She was formerly employed as the Green Thumb Coordinator with the Department of Labor.
She is the daughter of the late Jasper Clayton Roberts and Juanita Mae Darley Roberts. She is also preceded in death by one daughter, Nancy Susan Beverly.
Survivors include five sons, Greg Beverly of Waycross, Clay Beverly of Brunswick, Charles Beverly (wife Lisa) of Waycross, Glen Beverly of Waycross, and Cliff Beverly of St. Simon's Island; daughter-in-law, Amy Aberson of Waycross; seven grandchildren, Lisa Diaz, Josh Beverly, Ashley Evans (husband Bryan), Cassie Pritchard, Ryan Beverly, Patricia Beverly and Savanna Beverly; three great grandchildren; and best friend, Pat Miller of Waycross.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday (March 11, 2012) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
