Ms. Jones was born on June 21, 1921, in Bonaire, and was of the Methodist Faith. After earning her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Georgia College, she worked a total of thirty-six years for the Houston County Board of Education, retiring as a sixth grade teacher from Shirley Hills Elementary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Webb Jones; parents, Arthur Lee Sasser and Eula Bittick Sasser; sister, Farise Snowden; and brothers, Lee Sasser and John Carey Sasser.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving daughter, Judy Head (Emmett), Bonaire; grandchildren, Kimberly Webster Crouch (Rob) and Suzanne Webster Johnson (Mark); and great-grandchildren, Rylee Crouch, Kaydee Crouch, Will Johnson and Meg Johnson.
