EDMUNDS COUNTY MAN DIES VERY SUDDENLY
Esau Webb is Victim of Heart Trouble at B.B. Ward's Sunday Morning
Esau Webb of Edmunds county, a prominent man, and one of the earliest settlers in the county, died Sunday morning at about 3 o'clock of heart trouble, in B.B. Ward's building. He had spent the afternoon at the park, and in company of a friend returned to the city late that night. He had engaged a room and had gone to it to remain for the night. Mr. Webb has been complaining of heart trouble for some months, and friends say that he has not looked well for some time.
He was about 46 years old, and leaves nine children, ranging from 4 to 21 years in age. They are Bessie, Pearl, Laura, Lillie, Delbert, Walter, Elmer, Roy and Esau. His wife died two years ago. He owned a large amount of land in Edmunds county and was one of the most highly respected men in the community. He has been in Edmunds county for twenty-three years.
There are many relatives in Wisconsin and Iowa, who have been notified.
The body will be taken to the home of the family on the farm by Undertaker Wilson tomorrow, and on Wednesday morning the funeral will be held from there, interment to be in Riverside cemetary. Rev. C. C. Todd will conduct the services.
