LAMPASAS, July 21 - Funeral services for John Wesley Arms were held Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at Briggs-Gamel chapel. He died at his home here Saturday at 7 p.m.
Rev. W. O. Schulze, pastor of the First Methodist Church, conducted the services, Burial was in Oak Hill cemetery.
Arms was born February 14, 1870 in Blanco, Texas, and had lived most of his life in Lampasas. He had been a member of the Methodist Church since his youth. He married Annie Biddy in 1922.
Survivors are his wife, two children, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.; also four brother and four sisters.
