Mrs. Louria Edna Reynolds, daughter of the late Mr. John Robert Vaughn and Mrs. Arabelle Catherine Close Vaughn, was born November 16, 1897 and departed this life at 12:30 p.m., Monday, November 27, 1972, in the Metzmeier Nursing Home in Campbellsville. She was 75 years of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church at the time of her death. She united in marriage to Mr. W. S. Reynolds January 11, 1914, who survives. To this union were born seven sons and three daughters. Surviving are Mrs. James (Virgie) Wright, William Grady Reynolds, Durward C Reynolds, Ivo Reynolds, Vontress Reynolds and Ray Reynolds, all of Louisville; Mrs. Dwight (Zella) Judd, Mrs. Robert (Katheryn) Wright and Leon Reynolds, all of Greensburg.
Mrs. Reynolds is also survived by one sister: Mrs Jack (May) Parker of Magnolia; eighteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
The remains were in the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, where funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, 1972 with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Revs. Manly Towles and Robert Toten officiated.
Pallbearers were Roger Reynolds, Jackie Reynolds, Delbert Wright, Bobby Judd, Jerry Judd and Mike Judd.
