DONALD EDWARD HENNESSEY Of San Bruno, passed away, January 17, 2006. He was the beloved husband of the late Florence V. Hennessey. He is survived by his daughter, Frances V. Porteous and her husband, John of Holland, Michigan, sons, John R. Hennessey and his wife, Patricia of Millbrae, Donald P. Hennessey and his wife, Mary of Holden, Wisconsin, Thomas M. Hennessey of San Bruno and Ronald F. Hennessey and his partner, Kathleen M. Sullivan of Redwood City. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy A. Hennessey. A native of Scranton, Iowa, age 80 years, he had resided in this area since 1936 and was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran of the Pacific Theatre. He was a Superintendent of Construction for Landes Construction and Flood Construction and was a 50 year member of Local #217 of the Carpenters Union.

Family and Friends may visit after 4 PM Thursday, (today), January 19, 2006 and are invited to the Vigil service at 7:30 PM at CHAPEL OF THE HIGHLANDS, 194 Millwood Dr. in Millbrae. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM, Friday, January 20, 2006 at All Souls Church in South San Francisco. Committal, Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
