He was born on Dec. 30, 1917, to Frank A. and Frances (Benish) Fronk in the Town of Union, Vernon County, where he grew to adulthood and attended the White City School. Adolph was united in marriage to Hazel Reed on June 3, 1942, in Hillsboro. He operated his dairy farm Whistling Acres in the Town of Hillsboro for many years; he was also a truck driver and drove school bus for 27 years. Adolph was a man of great faith, with a sense of humor and loved to whistle.
Survivors include his children, Monica Verbsky of Hillsboro, Mary Lou (Ken) Bohlman of Hartland, Charles Fronk of Hillsboro, Leo (Carol) Fronk of Mauston, Tony (Sandy) Fronk of Faribault, Minn., and Bette (Kent) Roberts of Mount Horeb; 16 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel on Aug. 27, 1999; a brother, James; sister, Emma Jelinek; daughter-in-law, Nancy Fronk; and son-in-law, Leo Verbsky.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the ST. ALOYSIUS CATHOLIC CHURCH in Hillsboro, with Father Don Bauer officiating. Burial will be in the St. Johns Catholic Cemetery at Dilly. Friends may call at the PICHA FUNERAL HOME in Hillsboro on Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a Bible Vigil at 7:30 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Good Samaritan Food Pan
