Carla was born in Hartford City, IN, on October 18, 1963, a daughter of the late Lovelee Joy (Rinard) and Charles F. Beatrice.
She was a lifetime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Dunkirk, IN. She worked as an associate at Jay Randolph Developmental Services in Portland, IN.
Carla was a member of Dunkirk American Legion Post 227 Aux., Muncie Amvets Post 12 Aux., Portland Legion Post 211 Aux., and St. Mary Altar Rosary Society. She attended Jay School. Carla loved to dance and sing karaoke, and play UNO, travel and swim in her pool.
She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to all.
Carla is survived by four sisters, and four brothers;
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dino Beatrice; sister, Gina Beatrice; and uncles, Frank Beatrice and John Beatrice.
There will be a prayer vigil held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2012 at MJS Mortuaries Dunkirk Chapel. Friends may call from 2:30-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at MJS Mortuaries. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Dunkirk, with Fr. David Newton officiating. Graveside services will follow in I.O.O.F., Dunkirk, IN.
