COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Ina Pauline Brown, 89, of Cookeville, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 9, at the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, March 8, and again Friday from 9 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
Ms. Brown died Tuesday afternoon, March 6, 2012, at Riverview Medical Center in Carthage.
She was born May 16, 1922 in Jackson County, Tennessee to the late Benton McMillan and Dora Mae Carter Halfacre.
She was retired from the GTE Telephone Company in Cookeville after over 40 years of service. She enjoyed crocheting and made many gifts for special friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Glenn C. Brown; and a brother Everett ‘Ebb' Halfacre.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
