Obituary
Bartholomew Michael Brigida, 87. of San Diego, Calif., and formerly of Plymouth, died Nov. 22.
Born May 8, 1920, in Plymouth, he was a retired USAF lieutenant colonel, who served during World War II, and in Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of the Hump Pilots Association and the Order of Daedalians.
He is survived by two daughters, Carmela Simoncini and Jeanne Deaton; two sons, James and Burt Brigida; his brother, Gaetano Brigida; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation at the Clairemont Mortuary, 4266 Mt. Abernathy Ave., San Diego, will be held Friday, Nov. 30, from 4 to 9 p.m. His funeral service will be Saturday, Dec. 1 at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 1629 Columbia St., San Diego. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
