Montezuma, IN - On October 26, 1888, Mrs. Ellen Burns, beloved wife of Robert Burns, and daughter of Thomas and Annie Connor, died at her home in Terre Haute of typhus malaria fever, aged 28 years, leaving a husband and 5 children, the youngest only 5 months old. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Griffith and Rev. Ripetoe, at the M.E. Church. Interment was in Oakland Cemetery.
