Services will be held at 10am Tuesday in the Ruffner Funeral Home for Owen Walter Barber, 63, who died Friday, July 29, in the home of his son at New River, Arizona.
Barber was a Prescott resident and had been employed as an operating engineer with heavy construction companies. He was a member of the Silver Trowel Masonic Lodge, Phoenix.
He was born March 21, 1903, at Zonia, Ariz., a now defunct mining camp near Walnut Grove.
Barber is survived by his wife, Mabel A, Prescott; a son, Albert Kent, New River, and two daughters, Mrs Norma Ruth Busse and Betty Elaine Willis, both of Prescott.
Friends of the family may call at Ruffner Funeral Home from 5 to 8pm tonight. Bishop Boyd Tenney of the LDS Church will officiate at the Tuesday service. Interment will be in the Mountain View cemetery where the Masonic Lodge will perform graveside services.
