Billie Dale Cantrell, age 85, a Sulphur, Ok resident, formerly a longtime Ada resident, was born on August 25, 1926, at Cerulean Springs, Ky. to William B. Cantrell and Maude (Alexander) Cantrell. Bill passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Sulphur Veterans Center at Sulphur, Ok. Bill attended school in the state of Colorado He was a carpenter and worked in the construction business. He married Margie Faye Woods on October 12, 2002 in Atoka County, Oklahoma. Bill attended Union Valley Baptist Church in Ada, Ok. He enjoyed gardening, traveling, and yard work. He also loved to do crossword puzzle, tinkering and spending time with family. Billie is survived by his children, Lynn Sparkman and husband Rex of Mustang, Ok., Darlene Cantrell of California, Kathy Laxton and husband Mike of Sulphur, Ok., Doug Brewer and wife Jerrie of Garland, Tx.; grandchildren, John, Brian, and Margaret Coleman of Ada, Ok., Krystal Lewis, Sabrina White, and Randall Lewis of Mustang, Ok., Jeremy Lewis of Colorado, Cina Roan and husband Craig of Royce City, Tx., Angela Abella and husband Norm of Keller, Tx., Ricky Mincher and wife Julie of Caney, Ok., David Brewer and wife Sheila of Garland, Tx., Rodney Laxton of Roff, Ok.; 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; nephew, Brad Cantrell and wife Evelyn of Tn.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Billie was preceded in death by his parents, William B. Cantrell and Maude (Alexander) Cantrell; All of his siblings; wife, Margie Cantrell; son, John Coleman. Service will be Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 2 pm at Brown's Funeral Chapel in Atoka. Bro. Tim Jones will officiate. Interment will be at Boggy Depot Cemetery in Atoka.
