Sarah Jeanette Amick
Mrs. Sarah Jeanette Amick, 55, died at her home, 450 Logan Street, late Tuesday, after a period of general decline. She is the wife of Elmer N. Amick, district director of the Modern Woodmen Life Insurance society.
Mrs. Amick was born at Imogene, Ia., had lived the past fourteen years in Council Bluffs. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors, Lily camp No. 1, Rebekah lodge No. 3, Grace Presbyterian church and the Past-Oracles club.
Besides her husband she is survived by three sons, Wayne of Council Bluffs, Elmer, stationed with the U.S. navy at Hawaii, and Roy in Douglas, Wyo., two daughters, Mrs. M. H. Ellis of Lyons, Neb., Mrs. Max Bryant of Long Beach, Calif., and four brothers, William Livingston of Tekamah, Neb., Ray of Los Angeles, Wayne in Texas, Bert in Oregon.
The body is at the Woodring funeral home.

UNITY REBEKAHS – All members of Unity Rebekah Lodge No. 388 are requested to meet Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Grace Presbyterian church to attend the funeral of Nettie Amick.
