Mrs. Alice W. Kyle, widow of Michael Kyle, whose husband, a well-known employee of the Pennsylvania Railroad who died but 5 weeks ago, passed away last evening at the Kyle home in Conemaugh, aged 57. Her health had been impaired for some time. She suffered from a complication of diseases. The funeral will take place at 2:00 Friday afternoon, when the services will be conducted by the Rev. J. J. Brodhead, pastor of the Conemaugh Methodist Episcopal Church, of which the deceased was a member. Mrs. Kyle was also a member of the Women's Foreign Missionary Society of the Conemaugh Church. Burial will be made at Headrick's Cemetery. The deceased was born at Mineral Point, March 1858, and was married in Conemaugh, 16 Apr 1884, to Michael Kyle, the ceremony having been performed by the Rev. James L. Steffy, who was then the minister of the Conemaugh Episcopal Church. Mrs. Kyle was a daughter of Ephram and Jane Lemon Wissinger. The deceased had made her home in Conemaugh since 1877. She was the sister of Sarah, wife of Samuel Byers of Third St.; Rachel, wife of Lewis Barkheimer of First St.; Elizabeth, wife of C. W. Leech of 415 Locust St.; Elmira, wife of H. L. Miller, Second St.,; and Robert J. Wissinger of 211 Main St.; all of Conemaugh; and Francis of Alaska.
