C.C.Estridge Rites are Held
Carter C.(Johnny) Estridge, 79 year old Olney Resident, died at 9:30 p.m. Monday in a Wichita Falls Hospital.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Southside Baptist Church, with Rev. Lynn Wilson, pastor, officiating.
Estridge, born December 4, 1884, in Clay County, Ky., had lived in Olney since 1926. He was a plumber and long-time employee of the city of Olney.
Survivors are his wife; one son, J.C. Estridge of Graham; three daughters, Mrs. E.H. Stine of Wichita Falls, Mrs. C.E. Turner of Fort Worth and Mrs. Tom Caldwell of Graham; four grandchildren; three brothers, A.Z. Estridge of Olney, C.F. Estridge of Henrietta and J.B. Estridge of Wichita Falls.
Burial was in Henrietta under direction of Lunn Funeral Home.
