War veteran dies suddenly

herman Fosbrink walks from the garden to his house where he expires. After
working several hours in his garden Saturday after noon Herman Fosbrink aged
69 years a Civil War Vetran and a well known resident of Breackneck dropped
down soon after entering his home. Death was due to heart failure. Mr
Fosbrink had been in apparent good health and his suddle death came as a great
shock to the members of his family and many friends. Funeral services were
held Tuesaday afternoon at 2 oclock from his late home and from the Mt Olive
Church at 2:45 o clock. Interment at Mt Olive Cemetary.

Deceased was born in Germany and has been a resident of breakneck for many
years. He is survived by his widow, Sadie Fosbrink and the following
children, Samuel and JOhn Irvin, Miss Jerry King, Mrs Austin Ritenour, Mrs
Lucinda Fosbrink, Mrs Michael O Donnell, Mrs Joseph Dawson, Mrs Phillip
Younkin and Mrs Mary Emhoff two brothers John and Garrett Fosbrink and one
sister Mrs Mary Henry also survived.
