C.R. Ellis died Friday, August 13, at his residence. He was 46, a resident of Baker, and a native of Thomasville, Ga. He was the owner of Ellis Welding Supply and a U.S. Navy veteran in World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rita Ellis of Baker; his mother, Mrs. Myrtle Ellis of Thomasville, Ga.; three daughters, Mrs. Earline Hammatt of Zachary, Mrs. Jimmy Passmore and Mrs. Linda Walker, both of Macon, Ga.; one sister, Mrs. Charles England of Quitman, Ga.; one brother, A.R. Ellis of Thomasville; and six grandchildren.
