Paul was a 1945 graduate of Lynn High School and served in the US Army. He retired after 34 years as a lineman for GTE. Paul was a member of the Main Street Christian Church. He was also a member of the Phi Delta Kappa in Winchester and the Winchester Moose. He was also an avid race fan.
Paul is survived by his grandchildren, Brandon Bales of Winchester and Marissa Bales of Indianapolis; his daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Bales of Winchester; and 1 nephew and 3 nieces.
A celebration of Paul’s life will be at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester, with Rev. Melissa Kleinschmidt officiating. Burial will follow at the Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester.
