Mrs. Ada Virginia Land, wife of S.J. Land, died at Mountain View Santorium, Catawba, Va. at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, aged 44 years. Besides her husband she is survived by four children, Misses Stella S.L., Edith and Ada V. and one son, Leonard J. Land, all of Norfolk; her mother, Mrs. Angelina Flanagan, one brother, W.W. Flanagan and two sisters, Miss Anne Flanagan and Mrs. Solon A. Bonney, all of Princess Anne county.
The funeral will be held at Colonial Avenue Methodist church at 11 a.m. Tuesday and will be conducted by Rev. John W. Shackford. The interment will be in Forest Lawn cemetery.

The funeral of Mrs. Ada Virginia Land was held at Colonial Avenue Methodist church, at 11 a.m. yesterday and was largely attended. The service was conducted by the pastor, Rev. John W. Shackford. During the obsequies Mrs. William Shepherd sang as solos, "One Sweetly Solemn Thought," and "Sometime We'll Understand." There were many beautiful floral tributes. The interment was in Forest Lawn cemetery.
The Following were the pall-bearers, E.M. Jordan, Vernon Bluford, N.F. O'Dea, W.T. James, W.H.Smith, M.A. Williams.
