The former Katherine Boettecher was born in Cedar County. She married Mr. Baker Dec. 4, 1906.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Earl, Tipton; daughters, Mrs. Everett Miller and Mrs. Ethel Park, both of Tipton; Mrs. Edward Hipple, Moline, Ill.; Mrs. Kenneth Kelley, Moscow, Iowa, and Mrs. Melvin Baker, Mechanicsville, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mrs. Albert Curtis, Perry, Iowa, and Mrs. Arthur Klahn, Cedar Rapids.
