Mrs. A.B. McCay, Sr., 76, of Copperhill, died in a private hospital Saturday.
Mrs. McCay was a member of the pioneer family from which McCaysville, Ga., received its name. She was the widow of Arthur B. McCay, Sr., a founder of the A. B. McCay Insurance Agency.
The former Mary Barclay, she was a member of the Copperhill First Methodist Church for more than 50 years.
Survivors include daughters Mrs. D. R. Wagner, McCaysville, and Mrs. Roy Kincaid, Copperhill.
Funeral services will be at 11 a. m. Monday at the Finch Funeral Home Chapel, McCaysville. Burial will be in the Crestlawn Cemetery, Copperhill.
