Donald E. Beaty, age 78 late of Oak Forest, IL. Korean War Army Veteran. Beloved husband of Beverly (nee Hill) of 55 years. Loving father of Bruce Sr. (Carrie), Scott, and LaDonna (Stanley) Wrzosek. Proud grandfather of Bruce Jr. (Tiffany), Jacob, Tyler, Stanley and Matthew Wrzosek, Christopher and Ashley Dusek. Cherished great grandfather of Kaleb, Kylie, Evan and Dominick. Caring brother of Jane (Calvin) Clark, Nancy (late Buck) Edgeman. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Donald worked for many Railroad companies and held several positions throughout the company, he retired from CSX in 1987. Donald was very active in the community, volunteering with his wife at Catholic Charities and the Senior Citizens Commission. His favorite activity was fishing and enjoyed teaching his children and grandchildren the sport he loved.

Funeral service Tuesday March 06, 2012 10:00 AM at the Vandenberg Funeral Home 17248 S. Harlem Ave. Tinley Park, IL 60477. Interment in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation Monday 3:00-9:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Together We Cope in Tinley Park, IL.
