Services for JOHN GLENDALE HARDING, 72, former postmaster of Kirklin who died in that community Sunday at 8:30 a.m. will be conducted today at 2 p.m. from the Kirklin Presbyterian Church. The Rev. John Mattews and the Rev. Malcolm McNeal will officiate. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hunt funeral home in Kirklin until time for the services. Death was attributed to a heart condition and following an illness of several months. Born in Kirklin, June 22, 1884, he was the son of John A. and Emma E. (McKay) Harding. On June 16, 1913, he was married to Ethel M. Kreisher, who survives. Mr. Harding was a member of the Kirklin Presbyterian Church and the Kirklin Masonic Lodge. He served as postmaster at Kirklin for 18 years, retiring in 1953. Prior to that time he followed the trade of blacksmithing. Surviving besides the widow are the mother, who is 95, three sons, Robert, LaPorte; John, Cown; and Thomas, Speedway, a daughter, Miss Barbara Harding, Elkart; and two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Katz and Miss Lisle Harding, both of Kirklin.
