Joseph Grady Adams, Sr.
Funeral services for Mr. Joseph Grady Adams, Sr., were conducted at Edwards Funeral Home in Butler, Tuesday, 3 p. m. Eld. John Mangham officiated, and was assisted by Rev. Walter Doggrell. Interment at Shiloh cemetery.
Mr. Adams died of a heart attack at Tochikawa, Japan, Feb 21. He had made his home in Japan for the past 12 years where he was employed by the U. S. Government in Civil Service work.
His body was accompanied from Japan to Butler by his wife, Mrs. Adams.
Mr. Adams was born in Taylor county Jan. 8, 1905, the son of the late Mr. John H. Adams and the late Mrs. Nettie Adams.
