Edna M. "Cook" Hess, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died October 20, 2000 in Tacoma, at the age of 91. She is survived by her children, Sharon Cook, Robert (Carrie) Cook, Raelene Balles, Michael(Julie) Cook, Michele (Baxter) Fraser, 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jay P. Cook and Steven Hess, daughter,Dorna Klink and son Thomas Cook. Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, October 25, 2000,11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Vigil service will be Tuesday, October 24, 2000, 7:00 p.m. at the 1002 South Yakima Avenue Chapel. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Gaffney Cassedy Allen and Buckley King Funeral Home.
