George R. Stickney, 57, of North Tonawanda, Friday (March 12, 1976) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was a retired employee of the Department of Public Works in North Tonawanda, a member of Tonawandas Post 264 American Legion and Frontiersmen's VFW Post 7545.

Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Summerville) Stickney; father of Mrs. Kyle (Donna) Cramer, George (Linda) Stickney and Dennis (Karen) Stickney, all of North Tonawanda; grandfather of three grandchildren; brother of Mrs. Ethel Bennett of North Tonawanda, Miss Dorothy Stickney of Tonawanda and Albert Stickney of North Tonawanda; uncle of several nieces and nephews.

Friends received by the family SATURDAY and SUNDAY from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda where services will be held Monday (Mar. 15th) at 10:30 a.m., the Rev. Richard H. Trump will officiate. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery. (12-13)
