Donald R. Bailey, 80, of 6112 South Hampton Drive, retired NASA employee, died yesterday morning, February 9, at St. Francis Hospital.
Services were at Forest Hill Funeral Home Midtown with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery Midtown.
Mr. Bailey had been stationed at Kennedy Space Center for 14 years before his retirement.
He was a Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite, the York Rite, the Al Chymia Shrine and the Shrine Chanters.
He was a member of Central Church and a barber shop singing group.
He left his wife Mrs. Claudia Bailey, a daughter, Ms. Donna Noah of the home; a son, LT. COL. John R. Bailey of Carlswell AFB, TX, four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
