David Beardsley born April 2 1858 Armenia Mountain, Pennsylvania.
He came to live with Walter and Ella Williams Rockwell as a child. The story is his family were neighbors and his parents both became seriously ill and asked the Rockwells to take him if they didn't survive, which they apparently did not. Later he lived with Blanche Rockwell Stanton.
