Alta A. Finkbiner, 79, of Tustin, Calif., formerly of Marshall, died Monday, March 2, 1998 at Santa Anna, Calif.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 7 at the Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall with the Rev. Walter Volkers officiating. Burial was held in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation was held from 11 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.

She was born September 18, 1918 at Albion, Ill., the daughter of Walter and Anna Brock. She was married to Chester Finkbiner who preceded her in death.

Survivors include two daughters, Janice K. Finkbiner of San Pedro, Calif and Linda Black of Dove Canyon, Calif.; a sons, James Finkbiner of Amarillo, Texas; a sister, Frances Snyder of Marshall; a brother, Walter Brock of Lafayette, Ind., four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
