Mrs. Lawing was born December 31, 1923. The first born to the late Charlie and Effie Case of Asheville, NC.
In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Ray T. Lawing, who died in 2005, sister Frances C. Ballard; three brothers, G.H., Ronald, and Lewis Case; nieces Phyllis Garrison and Marilyn Jennings; and a sister-in-law Ava Lee Case.
Pauline was a beautician for over 50 years. She and her husband Ray owned Winners Salon of Beauty in Asheville. Pauline was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church.
Pauline is survived by one brother, Charles Case; two sisters Lorene Bridges and husband Robert, and Judy McCurry and husband Bob; sisters-in-law Doris Case, Shirley Case, and Patty Case. Pauline also has several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Thanks to her caregivers, Tammy, Robin, Jackie and Doris.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Clark Henderson officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
