Mr. J. Daniel Jones , age 81 , went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 28, 2012. Born in Palmetto, GA , he re-located to Hollywood, FL in 1958. There he owned a successful real estate business and was member of Sheridan Hills Baptist Church in Hollywood for almost 50 years, where he cultivated many friendships, that remain loyal to this day. In 2007, he re-located to Daphne, AL , to be closer to his daughter. He joined Eastern Shore Baptist Church and developed numerous cherished friendships. Dan was preceded in death by Barbara White Jones, his beloved wife of 41 years , his brother , Roser Dale "R.D." Jones and his sister, Joyce Jones. He is survived by his daughter, Ellen Jones Thompson (Jim) , and his son, Timothy Jones (Mary Frances). The family will receive friends at Parrott Funeral Home ...with a graveside service following...at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
