This obit has been kept in my Truitt family for many years and handed down to me, Cathi Truitt Steffens, one of the Great Granddaughters, for preservation within our direct line of the Truitt family. Both my father, John, and Uncle Charles Truitt, shared the clipping of the Grandparents with me. It was published I believe in the Peoria and Chillicothe, IL newspapers as the clipping was merely cut out and entrusted to me for our descendants.
WITH SPECIAL THANKS TO JOHN T. TRUITT and my UNCLE CHARLES TRUITT
