Theron Futch,84,passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro. The Tattnall County native had live in this area all his life and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He and his wife owned and operated Futch's Store for many years and was a retired farmer and rural mail carrier. He was a member of New Bethel Primitive Baptist Church and loved to Square Dance. He is preceded in death by his son, Jerry Futch.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Katie Lee Bland Futch of Statesboro, sister, Betty Kemp of Lyons, Brothers, Jeffery Futch of Ft. Meyers, Fl. and Bill Futch of Jacksonville,Fl. Grandsons, Jamie Futch and Eric Futch, Four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitaion will begin at 2:00 pm, Monday, March 5, 2012 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery.
