John Boehler, Sr., 68, who farmed in the Sutton vicinity since 1900, died here Tuesday. He had been living in Lincoln, under medical care, for the past month.
Mr. Boehler was born in Rurbach [sic], South Russia, in 1880. He was married in 1900 to Karoline Bohlender, who preceded him in death, and he bacame a naturalized citizen at Geneva, Neb., April 20, 1916.
Funeral services will be at the Kohler mortuary and at First Reformed church at Sutton, with Rev. Calvin Steppe officiating. Burial will be at Sutton.
Surviving are two sons, John B. of Lincoln and William of Sutton and six daughters, Christina Fuehrer and Emma Joyce, both of Sutton, Martha Scheerer and Sara Eshleman, both of Lincoln, Frieda White of Yankton, S.D., and Clara Maas of Crete.
