Thelma R. Saunders, age 62, died April 12 at her home in rural Adams county.
The daughter of Oliver and Thelma Louise (Pierce) Reed, she was born May 11, 1941, in Burley, Idaho. She graduated from high school at Castlemont High School in Oakland, Calif. in 1959.
In 1964 she married Darrell Saunders, Sr. They lived, worked and raised their family in Alameda, Calif. He preceded her in death in 1982.
Wanting to get away from California, she moved to Adams County between Ritzville and Odessa in 2001.
Surviving are three sons, a daughter, and a brother.
A private family service will be held at a later time.
Danekas Funeral Home, Ritzville, was in charge of arrangements and cremation.
