Mr. Forrest William Baskins, age 79, of Colt, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, at Crestpark in Wynne. Mr. Baskins was born Jan. 4, 1927, and worked at Halstead prior to his retirement. He was a Baptist. Mr. Baskins is survived by his wife Pauline Baskins, of the home; two sons, Ralph Baskins and Robert Baskins, both of Colt; two daughters, Betty Sue King of Newark and Patricia Ann Lawson of Colt; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Forrest Baskins Jr., in 2002. Visitation for Mr. Baskins will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Morgan Chapel with Bro. J.T. Baskins officiating.
