Rosenbaum, Dorothy Evelyn. Dorothy was born on August 11, 1920 in Indianapolis and died February 29, 2012. She lived through the Depression as a teenager and the Second World War as a young woman.

She married Earl Rosenbaum in 1941 and moved to Dallas in 1949 where she lived until her death. She worked in the insurance industry and taught literacy as a volunteer. Dorothy and Earl spent their sunset years dancing, and were long-term members of Dallas's Let's Dancers.

Dorothy's survivors include two twin sons, Stephen, of Flagstaff, Arizona, and Stuart, of Waco, Texas, and 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Burial is at Restland on Monday, March 5 at 1:00. A celebration of life, including music by her composer grandson, and a reception is at Presbyterian Village North Auditorium on Saturday, March 10 at 10:30am.
