Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Harry McKay "Mac" Jensen, 90, passed away peacefully in his sleep March 2, 2012 in Richfield. He was born January 23, 1922 in Richfield to Adrian Oliver and Maude Ethel Hansen Jensen. He married Norma Lundgreen, November 16, 1946 in Nevada.

Dad served in the Army during WWII all over Europe. He was a supervisor at Georgia Pacific for nearly 30 years. Cooking Dutch oven chicken and potatoes up in the hills were among his favorite things to do, along with fishing at Fish Lake. Dad and Mother enjoyed traveling. He wrote poems and also was very good at wood carving.

Survived by wife Norma, Monroe; daughters, Norma Jean (Kirt) Anderson and Marcia (Doug) Sunderland, both of Monroe; nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Ilene Humphrey, Salt Lake City.

Preceded in death by parents.


Cremation services have been held. Graveside services and interment will take place Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 12:00 Noon in the Monroe Cemetery with military rites by the Monroe American Legion Post #37. A gathering for family and friends will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. 1st & 4th Ward Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti. Online guestbook at
