this doesn't look like your family line, but just so you can effectively stop following a dead end, here is the info on John Poe and wives:

An Earlier Marriage to Dorothy Goudge produced John (died in infancy) William (1815) and Ancil(1817)

A census, Stinson is the usual given name for the husband of Hannah Bishop Poe. However, if you look at the original record in the marriages of McMinn County, Book C, Feb 1838 to Mar 1848, Mr. Poe's name is clearly recorded as Stephenson Poe. He married Hannah Bishop on March 9, 1842. His full name was Robert Stephenson Poe, though it is recorded only as Stephenson Poe in the marriage reords.

BTW Hannah was born in Scott County, Virginia, and moved in the mid-1830s to McMinn County, Tennessee, with her father and mother, John and Sarah Rogers Bishop. After Hannah married Mr. Poe, John and his family moved to Union County, Georgia.
