Theresa "Bobbie" Ann Hartley Davenport, 55, of Berrier Road, passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 22, 2011, at her home after an extended illness.

A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel by the Rev. Tommy Hepler. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service and other times at the home on Berrier Road.

Bobbie was born in Davidson County on Jan. 6, 1956, to O.C. "George" and Viola Lenora Tysinger Hartley. She was a distribution manager with Piedmont News Agency. She loved bowling and was an avid fisher. Her mother preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, John Louis Davenport of the home; two sons, Joe Weaver and wife Melissa and Shown Davenport and wife Lindsay of Lexington; two brothers, Charles Hartley and wife LuAnn of Lexington and Terry Hartley and wife Angela of Southmont; four sisters, Rita Hartley Brown and Linda Hartley Ingram, both of Lexington, Laura Hartley Adams of Winston-Salem and Carol Hartley Hubbard and husband James of Welcome; and six grandchildren.
