John Peel Sr. died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Hungate, in Mt. Union last Saturday evening. The funeral services were held in the M. E. church in that village Monday at 10 a.m., the interment taking place in the Morning Sun cemetery. Mr. Peel was 90 years of age and an old pioneer of this township. he fell some weeks ago and broke his hip and this ultimately resulted in his death.
