She was born June 23, 1920, in Peoria to George and Anna Ponicsan Alexander .
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Anita) Heuermann of Peoria and Mrs. Roy (Zora) Turnbaugh of Geneva; two brothers, Arnold G. Alexander of Bellevue and Richard M. Alexander of Bellevue, with whom she made her home; and several nieces and nephews.
She worked in operations at Moffitt Field in Palo Alto, Calif., following World War II. She last worked as a surgical technician at Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, retiring in 1957. She and her sisters were musicians, who played on live shows on WMBD Radio in the early days of radio.
She was a lifetime member of the Serbian National Federation.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Wilton Mortuary. The Rev. Ned Lunick will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
