Mary Lou Cannell

Mary Lou Cannell passed peacefully February 25th at the too young age of sixty after a lengthy illness. She was at home, surrounded by her loving family while sleeping. Mary was born in Santa Clara California in 1951 to parents Tony and Lillian Aguiar. She was raised in Scotia and Turlock California and moved to Modesto in 1975.
Mary graduated from Turlock High School and Modesto Business College with a degree in accounting. She then worked at retail management and accounting before retiring with her husband in 2004. Mary loved genealogy, travel, and being with her extended family.
Mary is survived by her loving husband and partner of thirty seven years, Ron Cannell, their daughter, Christi Hawthorn (Rob), sons of her heart, Brian (Kathy), Rick (Kim), and Donnie (Karrie). She is also survived by her loving sister Gloria Antone (Ron), brothers Manuel and Pat Aguiar, and seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Mary was loved by all who met her and will be truly missed by all. Any remembrances may be made to Community Hospice of Modesto. 4368 Spyres Way Modesto, CA 95356. Interment will be private.
